DSLs and DDSLs are available on the gates before and after school.  They can also be contacted via:

• email: enquiry@sbr-lumenchristi.org.uk (this is the school email account monitored, please indicate you wish for the information to be forwarded to safeguarding leads, i.e. FAO The DSL team).

If your concern is that a child is in immediate danger, please call 999.

If your concern is out of school working hours, you may wish to speak to CASS (Children’s Advice and Support Service) from the Birmingham Children’s Trust if you have concerns for a child’s safety and welfare. Visit the site and locate contact details here: CASS or call on 0121 303 1888.

The safety and welfare of children is everyone's business. You could be a neighbour, friend, parent, relative, childminder, teacher or doctor - or working for any organisation which has contact with children and young people.

Most children enjoy generally happy childhood experiences within their own family. Unfortunately for some, this is not the case. During difficult family times, everyone who knows the child must do the best they can to protect them from future harm.
