"We educate our children in a Catholic community with Christ at the centre'. Our Religious Education is at the centre of our curriculum.
All year groups in school follow the Archdiocese of Birmingham scheme of work entitled 'Learning and Growing as the People of God.' This is a progressive scheme building on the skills and knowledge acquired in previous years. Each year group teaches a range of units of work which cover Scripture, Sacraments, Living as Christians and the Liturgical Year. This ensures that all children cover a wide range of units throughout each year group, including the Catholic Pupil Profile which helps the children to understand what it means to be Catholic today.'
Religious Education is taught for 10% of curriculum time.
