Faith Friends
Every child in our school has a faith friend from another year group. Each year group is paired with another year group as follows:
Nursery – Year 5
Reception – Year 6
Year 1 – Year 3
Year 2 – Year 4
At the start of the year we will make prayer cards for each other and have an opportunity to meet each other.
We will then meet and work together at various points throughout the year such as Advent and Lent.
We will pray for each other during the year and help each other to grow in faith.
Year 1 and 3 Faith Friends
The Faith Friends met during Lent and shared their prayers with one another. Some chose to use the prayer space and resources outside the classroom.

We really enjoyed working with our Faith Friends today. We helped them to make Advent Boxes. We had some good discussions about Advent and reminded ourselves that we are now in the season of waiting and preparation. We thought about what we could do to make sure that we are all ready to welcome Jesus on Christmas Day. Then, we filled the boxes with a special promise.
