On Tuesday 13th June, we came together as a school to celebrate the different cultures within our community. All children were invited to come to school in traditional dress or colours from their nation's flag.
We started the day with a special Mass led by Father Cecil. We enjoyed listening to Christian music from around the world and heard bidding prayers being spoken in different languages.
After Mass, the whole school took a walk around the local area showing solidarity and compassion for refugees as part of our celebrations for Refugee Week next week.
A huge thank you to the parents who donated food from around the world. The dishes were truly delicious! Thank you also for your kind donations, we raised £50 which will be going to the Big Refugee Fundraiser.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
