Sponsored Event
The Caritas Ambassadors have encouraged children across the school to raise money for our prayer garden by taking part in a sponsored event. We are hoping to raise money for new paving, plants and a celtic cross statue.
Each year group will be taking part in a sponsored event such as: sponsored walk, sponsored chores and a sponsored skip.
We can't wait to update you on our final total and show your our new prayer garden.

The Caritas ambassadors visited the local pantry to find out about the work they do in our local community. They have been helping to collect tinned tomatoes in the Summer Term. This half term we are collecting tins of beans.
As part of our work for the option for the poor and vulnerable, the Caritas Ambassadors have supported our local pantry. Mrs Hussey came and led an assembly to tell us all about the work of the pantry. The Caritas Ambassadors have helped to collect tinned tomatoes. This half term we are collecting tins of beans.
Our Caritas Ambassadors collected art work from children in school to display as part of our 'Dignity of the Human Person' display.
We led an assembly alongside our Principal, Mrs Nash, to tell the rest of the school about the dignity of the human person. We read a scripture reading from the Gospel about the greatest commandment. We have set a task for the children to complete a piece of art work about the dignity of the human person which we display in an art exhibition. We are really looking forward to seeing all of the children's work.
Meet our Caritas Ambassadors
Our very special ambassadors joined together with pupils and staff from ten other primary schools to learn all about their new role. Sister Judith led our day and taught us all about what it means to be an ambassador of Christ and to put His love into action.
