We understand that as a school we may sometimes speak using jargon that parents do not understand or are unfamiliar with. We hope the following helps:
EYFS- Early Years Foundation Stage - this is our children in Nursery and Reception. In school we also refer to them as Foundation Stage (FS.)
KS1 - Key Stage 1- pupils in Years 1 and 2.
KS2 - Key Stage 2 - pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Phase Leader - we have four Phase Leaders who are responsible for a team of staff and overall responsibility for the classes in their phase.
Phase Leader for Nursery/Reception (EYFS/FS) is Mrs Hannon
Phase Leader for Years 1/2 (KS1) Mrs Taggart
Phase Leader for Years 3/4 (Lower KS2) Mrs Clifford
Phase Leader for Years 5/6 (Upper KS2) Mrs Devitt
