I am an ex pupil of St Brigid’s. I retired after 39 years as a secondary school teacher in August 2011. I taught Design Technology. I was also Deputy Headteacher in two Catholic secondary schools; Archbishop Ilsley in Acocks Green, and before that Cardinal Wiseman in Kingstanding.
I am an extraordinary Minister of Eucharist, and a lay reader for the parish of Our Lady & St Brigid. I support in the parish on a voluntary basis.
I am also secretary to Lower Tinkers Farm Allotments based in Lockwood Road.
I do my best to give the school all the support I can. I hope that my work in the parish will help maintain the excellent working links between the parish and the school. I want the school to continue to be the excellent centre of learning that it is.
