Our Curriculum is designed through a topic-based approach using Cornerstones resources.
Science, Religious Education, Physical Education and Modern Languages are taught discreetly; however, links are made where appropriate.
There is an expectation of creativity in our school curriculum. We plan topics that cross different subjects and give our pupils the opportunities to take greater control of their learning to work together and make connections between different subject areas. We want our pupils to see the 'whole picture' and recognise relationships and patterns in their learning and so gain a deeper understanding.
We have a policy of involving the whole school in events to experience and celebrate creative learning. We encourage, recognise, celebrate and reward pupils' creativity.
Please see the document below for a plan of the Cornerstones topic taught in each year group.
